LAND OF THE LONG WHITE CLOUD

New  Zealand  Easter  pictorial  adventure

In an email from a Kiwi  friend  in which  ancestry  research was discussed  came  an account of  an Easter  trip  to  the attractive  art  deco  city  of  Napier , North Island ;   the  possibility of a visit  to  the  Waitomo  Glow Worm   Caves ; mention of   the  highly regarded   Porongia  Craft Market , consisting of  some 300 stalls, which  travels about the Waikato ,  and a warm start to Autumn . PHOTOGRAPHS : At the top, sunrise over  Napier ; the  Te  Mata Lookout  overlooking  the fertile  Napier  region where  broccoli heads  are reportedly twice the  size of  those sold in supermarkets ; a farm and forest viewed  along  the  way ; winding road  in  rugged  terrain.
