CURLEW ORDEAL RESUMES

The  Little Darwin  resident  Curlews, who so  far this year have  sadly lost two lots of chicks, have  again produced another  two eggs . In a bid to try and reduce midnight marauders which may have been responsible for the demise of the earlier  babies, a  cat trap  was  set  using  sardines  as  bait   and so far  two Possums have been  caught  and reluctantly set free  to  resume  dancing on  the  roof  at night.
