FIERCE LOOKING GRIME AND CRIME FIGHTERS SURVIVED DEBBIE

In yet another waterfront scoop, our Shipping Reporter, the only one  in North Australia ,  says  the  two  bird  scarers  on the Townsville  Water Police command  vessel Brett Irwin survived  the  strong  winds generated by  Cyclone  Debbie .  However, the owl is now under  shelter , sitting on top of a  wheelie bin  at the stern , no longer in  that  dangerous  spot  on  the open  rail. The bird of prey  on the bow  has also been moved into a  new  position , facing  towards  the vessel, instead  of  out  to  sea. Our reporter suggests  that  if the vessel actually put to sea  on a regular basis  the bird  droppings  would be  washed and blown  away  . NEWS  TIP  FOR LOCAL MEDIA  : There  is  a  story  here .
