The wall of Welcome to Magnetic Island banners put up to hide the unsightly hole behind it, near the ferry terminal , has started to tear apart and nobody in the Townsville City Council or assorted tourist bodies has seen fit to remedy the situation . At 11am Monday , November 6 , this was the scene , part of the display torn free and spread across the walkway, other pieces billowing in the background.
